Getting Insider “Apple Intelligence”

Earlier this month, Apple made a splash at their World Wide Developers Conference by announcing “Apple Intelligence” and the latest versions of their operation systems — which is bursting with enhancements and new features.

Much of the announcement made perfect sense and is a smart forward movement of usable AI based on Apple’s greatest strengths. So we, like many other industry insiders, were smiling as they announced things we wanted and a few surprises.

Then as the month went on, info trickled out from the company and initial reviewers that made us realize that some of the announced products will revolutionize life; others are still ‘vapor-ware’ which will be delivered in the future.

In the Confirmed Achiever Blog, we give you real world, plain language perspective related to what Apple’s new offerings mean to you for “personal intelligence”. You’ll find out whether you’ll be able to use the products or have to buy new hardware, as well as get resources for more info.

Plus, if you’re an iPhone user, you’ll learn about an enhancement that takes better advantage of iPhone batteries as they get low. Read the full article on Confirmed Achiever Blog.

Microsoft’s Privacy Faux Pas

It seemed like a good idea at the time — as long as you don’t care about privacy of your users. Microsoft announced “Recall” a feature in Copilot+ PCs that records everything you do so you can look back on it later.

From a utility POV, it sounds amazing. Imagine being able to recreate your steps to find out what you did wrong; then re-doing it in a way that will give you better results. Astounding.

But (#1)… Microsoft turned it on by default. So everybody using Copilot+ PCs would be recorded automatically — even if they didn’t know it.

But (#2)… Rewind reallly wasn’t ready for prime time. They launched it before it could be used safely by Windows users. For instance, it might record your passwords and put it within access of hackers.

As of this writing, instead of getting Recall, you’ll get a message saying it’s coming soon.
